Hey let me look into this it sounds exactly what happened to me when I was using my HP DV-7 Laptop, What Man computer you using again? What sound card, I will almost bet something is not communicating from SONAR X1-your Output.
Can you get the Midi to play so you can see visual hits and levels on the Meters?

I will try to do my best as I know exactly how frustrating it can be I had 20-30 complete MIDI Drum Tracks all Mixed, Mastered (as good As I can) with SONAR HS7, I got X1 and the Snare was out of time with Kick and it was all crap, Took me until my HP Died and I got a ASUS that I was able to fix it, but I lost 1/2 of teh Tracks from HP DOA.
My ASUS Uses Realtek HD Sound, and I found getting ASIO 4 All works the best with this but The HP had IDT/SRS Sound and ASIO 4 All did nothing but mess it up,
I sure hope I can help you get this fixed quickly so you can get back to doing what ya do 🙂

I would suggest you look into getting EZplayer pro if you want to do that then you can build you drum tracks in EZPlayer then export it so you can then use it in your Korg.
I would think that would be the easiest and cheapest option, I do have EZplayer Pro although I have not used it that exact way yet as I have Cakewalk SONAR X1 which Is what I normally use to build my drum tracks.
I started out with EZDrummer and EZX Drum Kit From Hell, Which worked out really nice then I happened upon somone selling DFh Superior Custom and Vintage along with S2.0 upgrade (They had previously recieved permission from toontrack to transfer License) at a rediculously low price so I jumped on that and added The Metal Foundry SDX which I also found rediculously low ( Got all the software for $230, 130 for DFH superior and S2.0 and $100 for TMF SDX)
The S2.0 came with EZPlayer pro which is a awesome product as it allows you to play all sorts of MIDI files and actually seperate the MIDI if needed to individual instruments.
I would highly recommend you download teh Use manual of EZPlayer pro so you can get an idea of what you can do with it.
I think from what you have posted though that this is exactly what you want and it can be opened using Toontrack solo so you can build you tracks and then export them.

What Scott was talking about as far as you authorizations is actually on the toontrack web site, in your account under your products you will see a list of you programs you have and if you look at them you will see the computers you have authorized and as you stated you have a laptop and a desktop already authorized which uses up your 2 avaliable authorizations ( you will see 2-2 and 2-4 authorizations ) so what that works out to be is you have 4 authorizations total when you first register you products but only 2 authorizations (computers) at the same time so you will need to remove one of the computers you will no longer be using which will allow you to authorize you newest computer and that will leave you with 1 -4 authorizations left. I had to do that same thing when my laptop died I had to remove its authorization and then add my new on which I then added a seperate laptop which Is used when I am not able to use my main laptop. So like you I have 1-4 authorizations left.
I hope I made that easier to understand and not more complicated 🙂

I assume what you are referring to as showing up as toontrack would be the toontrack solo program?
What you are referring to as programs area would be under the start-programs area and not in the control panel-programs and features?
If I am correct then you install is fine if you look in the control panel-Programs and Features(Windows 7) you will see EZDrummer, Cocktail, and any other EZX’s or SDX’s you have installed, The reason for this is the only one that is actually a program you can use stand alone is Toontrack Solo all other programs either have to be opened in Toontrack solo or one of the recording programs that allow you to use SoftSynth VSTi or RTAS plug in’s.

I have not tried that with Pro tools but I have used GP6 and exported Midi Drum tracks and used it in both Sonar HS7 and Sonar X1 essential using EZDrummer and S2.0 which I just got about 3 days ago and it works awesome.

Oh ya I am all updated to the Teeth, It was a huge pain though as I had my HP Laptop DIE so I basically started Fresh with a ASUS G73-SW with the Intel Core i7 New Revision Processor, Man this thing is a Power Monger Beast, I got it to work perfectly one I used the VDDS disk instead of the Download File from the Site,

Ok this is weird I installed and uninstalled 2 different times using the file I downloaded from Toontracks site, I then decided to pull out my Digital pack I believe they call it or Installer pack where I have the dvd’s for almost all the programs from ezdrummer to S2.0 and it worked fine using teh DVD so I assume something is wrong with the download file.

I forgot to mention it acts this way using Toontrack solo or when I open it using Sonar X1 essential and it is only DFH that does this Pop Rock seems fine and so does Cocktail kit its mixer seems fine
My Previous Laptop was a HP and it had Vista 64 the New laptop is a ASUS G73-SW with Windows 7 Premium 64 bit

OK I played with the mixer a bit on EZ drummer with DFH and I got the sound better. I was mistaken some of teh videos I read about S2.0 and teh presets and somehow thought there were a bunch of available presets on EZ drummer also and I could not figure out why I had nothing listed under presets liek I had seen. It was my fault sorry.
I am going to play with it some more since I have read some posts on here about issues similar to what I have.
I am glad to see so many more topics once I logged in then what I thought were available when I just stopped in to see what was posted as a guest. I thought this was the worst forum ever as I could not see any of thses topics just pre purchase items.
