Directing your conversation in a multi line thread such as this Jord may also garner better results.

Thank you for your words of wisdom… Maybe i should have been clearer? Is this on the roadmap?

Given that this is one of the big features in SD3 I’d be very surprised to see it added to EZD in the near future – if you want to edit the MIDI from EZD just drag it into your DAW. No music degree needed 🙂

Rehashing old queries / comments as a newbie so apologies if this is too old but what are you looking for – there seems to be a lot of pop / rock groove when I hear worship music played.

So for Metal Bass Midi you could just pull across EZDrummer or SD3 Metal drum midi which would give you that groove in EZBass – for EZ Keys Rock there are already a few expansions but also I find it depends on what genre you’re aiming for. I’m more into writing Prog and Blues Rock than Metal or Speed based genres and find that the Ballad, Movie Score and even the RnB themes work really well as rock accompaniment. Just moving the midi up or down an octave, remove the bass piano notes and add a bass groove that fits the genre better and people will think you had Rick Wakeman come in to do some session work.

Compression is not a volume knob.

Following on from Michael’s pennies let me throw in mine. Turn up the drum channel and add a touch of compression and stop arguing about a full digital midi library which costs less than a snare drum miked up to a mike-pre not sounding the same as that analogue input. Apples and oranges my friend, apples and oranges.

Wow Jeff some of the older SDX are reduced on that site as well – almost as cheap as the EZX expansions

Thanks Jeff – don’t tell the admins here will you 😉 – I guess that means you vote for the full price ones as well, so that brings the score to…

    Rooms/Decades/D&D 2

    Sales 0

All opinions welcomed guys many thanks

Thanks Digital – I’m waiting to see how Eddie Kramer’s History of Rock package comes out but if that’s a disappointment then Bob Rock’s library is definitely an option.

    Score so far:

    Rooms/Decades/D&D 1

is there any chance that this is in your backlog of feature requests? The editor and custom beats editing is soooooooo cumbersome im currently looking to find an alternative product. I love all the samples and realism you guys have created (humanizing etc) but i shouldnt need a degree in music theory just to offset a snare hit here and there.

You don’t have to look very far, to be fair Leith…

Export song track to bass tab , how about that for a feature 😁

Then you would have people complaining that it had tabbed it out on the wrong strings – sorry could’t resist

Steve do you have to tab out your bass players parts – can’t he just come up with a groove from charts you provide – maybe with a few melodies form EZBass for good measure?

Again, please forgive my ignorance but I’ve never played in a band where we’ve had more than a few chord charts or even just a 1-4-5 in Bb nod from the keyboard player.
