Thanks the advice guys, turns out i just had keep the MIDI channel selection consistent across each setting option point.

 

It’s now up and running as a MIDI controller for SD3!

UPDATE:

 

Using the MIDI-OX program i have found that my computer is able to receive the midi data from the kit. However i am still unable to see the option to select MIDI device within superior drummer 3.
