Is there some step that i’m missing?

If you want to Bounce with the DAW tempo map there are 2 ways:

    1. Import the Tempo Map from the DAW to SD3 by using “Import Tempo from MIDI file…” in the Track menu down to the left right above the songtrack. Then Bounce using the “Export Song as Audio Files…” in the same Track Menu.
    2. Activate Follow Host in SD3 and then play through the whole song while recording in your DAW.

There is no way to Bounce in SD3 using the DAW tempo map directly since SD3 can’t get to the tempo information in the DAW without playing through the whole song as in step 2.

Ok, I didn’t see your email address, but you can zip them together and upload them on this link:

Sometimes when you drop a tempofile it doesn’t change the tempo in your DAW, depending on which DAW you use. In that case you must load the midifile as a tempomap or load the file through the menus (instead of dragndrop) for it to read the tempos.

Sounds strange, have you made sure the file is not already cut before importing to Tracker, perhaps it is cut during export from the DAW?

Otherwise please upload the file and I will take a look at it to see if I can reproduce the issue.

How I do use tracker on whole live drum take stems that are not quantized, that ‘ebb and flow’ timing -wise.

Have you created a custom tempo map in Find Tempo (see image below where to find it). In there each bar is matched with a transient and you can manually move the bars to other positions. In this way the tempo can vary over the song. Make sure to Export the MIDI with “Tracker Tempo Track” option selected and then also import the tempo map in your DAW so they have the same tempo map (the tempo map can be exported from the songtrack).
Another way to do it if you already have a tempo map in your DAW, is to import it into Tracker (under Global Tracks, Tempo Map and the menu button -> Load Tempo map from MIDI file).
Hope that helps, otherwise get back to us if you have more questions!

I’ve discovered that it HAS created a MIDI track for the whole file, but I had to stretch it to fit the project. Any ideas?

Hi, it sounds like it wasn’t played back with the same tempo it was exported with.

When you’re in the Tracker Export view, what tempo setting are you using up to the left?
The MIDI must be played in the DAW with the same tempo (or tempo map if such is used) that you used during exporting.

Okay I’ve tried it again and it’s working now for some reason I will keep an eye on as I need to find original project.
Also for some reason when I save a project in Studio One I can’t read it in standalone mode but that’s another issue but attached. Have changed file extension from ezkp to txt as otherwise I get an attachment error.

    Hi Nick,
We have a new version of EZKeys on Beta right now where we have fixed the issue of the Standalone not being able to open Projects saved in a Daw, so keep a look out for the next Release coming in the near future.

Could not reproduce the chord merge bug, please get back to us if you can reproduce it.
    Thanks for reporting in!
