My experience with Cubase is that you’ll have to make up a new drummmap, probably for other sequencers as well. The way i work is mostly with Cubase format only however. Usually i start with an existing drummap for Cubase – EZdrummer, and change a lot of sound-naming when necessary, and save the works under a different name.
I also have Groove Agent, alsoSteinberg; luckily you can automatically load those drummaps. But i’d love to find a faster way of constructing EZdrummaps.
PS i always have wondered why the same sounds are triggered with different Midi notes in EZ drummer, makes this job unnecessarily complicated. -F
