The only search text is in the left upper corner, but clicking on them does not work (firefox), studio corner beside it does how ever …

Cubase SX 48?  32bit?  You could try dragging the dll from the left in to the right panel; that works with Cubase Pro 9.5 ….

it’s the same with an UFXii. before i used an UFX connected via Firewire on windows7, i can’t remember issues there with it switched off BTW. With cubase f.i. you don’t have to exit to reconnect audio, but chances are you have to adress the UF ports again. J

It will open any ezx packs and any SDX packs. Take a look on the Toontrack site as there are plenty of audio examples on the pages for the packs. There are no specific packs out yet for SD3. It does have percussion and electronic sounds as well as the acoustic kits.

    thnx, J

As said it was the stock kit with SD2. SD3 is much higher quality with a lot of kits better than Avatar. There really would be no reason to put inferior kits on that don’t compare with the ones provided. I don’t use any of the old kits now. I only use the ones that came with SD3 because they are so much better.

Hello Mark. Thanks for your info on Avatar and SD3. I was on the lookout for some extension packs for SD3. I bought quite a few EZx kits in the past for EZdrummer 2; do you have any further opinions, and especially SD3 add-on buying advice? This as i am more into the other stuff than just pop and rock kits. J

@JC said:I have to agree with others. This is the FIRST music software company I’ve run across that makes DOCUMENTATION require a log-in. If anything, Toontrack should be using the docs as a sales tool, not walling it off. It’s not like yer giving away any military secrets.

I just bought Addictive Drummer 2 + some packages especially in a 50% deal for the out of the ordinary & weirder ones LoL. Great sound and nice midi grooves but as said you can only use it with an online computer. So worse than Toontrack stuff: it’s not even installable if you’re offline. As i had EZdrummer 2 etc already, for it’s fast and easy workflow especially, besides Groove Agent 4. So now i am into SD3, and grateful towards Bob, for the above manual conversion … J

This online sh*t is why i recently did not but Active Drummer 2 but SD3 instead; the sounds and midis of AD2 are fine, but you can only work online with it. F

Just installed SD3 fresh, avoiding access to the old SD2 and EZ2 installation. BUT I CANNOT FIND THE MIDI-GROOVES belonging to SD3 !! Where are they located??
