Me too ….  As trombone player I never play in A#, but a lot in Bb.

Well, you can drag the chords out of the EZkeys sequence onto a track in Cubase 10. You’ll have to select the whole track active first in EZkeys, and then you can drag it straight on a Cubase midi track … if you want chords only, use sustaining chords.

Common issue with computer generated music. The dynamic range is quite less than ‘live’ sound, and adding sounds by merging in to a mix can create a lot of muddiness. Usually why so many mixing experts use some kind of distortion added to digital sound sources,to make them standout a little more in the sound pool. Try to separate frequencies and stereo panning can help out too …

Yep, just bought EZkeys, and although a great tool, i found other 3/4 and more time sig variations missing quite a bit ….

This (old) link is dead, and download link is gone; has someone posted this at a new location?

I listened to it, alas i am not really impressed with the sounds, heard far better e pianos from other VST makers. I like Cinematic Grand f.i, that’s quite original.

Also there are not too many 3/4 recordings it seems .. for songwriting, country and folk a must have.

The best ‘easy’ guitar alternative is already there, Steinberg’s Virtual Guitarist v2 is one of the easiest compared to a lot of great sounding but hard to program alternative ones. Alas abandoned, 32bit, but it works in Cubase 10 and 9.5 if you use jBridge. Maybe Musiclab’s Real Guitar comes in next.  You could try to use the organ interface of EZkeys to fire the sounds of another plugin.

PS call me curious: howzabout the (promised) SD3 update?

In my case i had issues with the product manager, so i chose the web page downloads instead, that worked fine.

Made a folder on another drive and called it TT3 sounds. Installed everything regarding sounds and midis there, redirecting via the TT (SDX) installers. Although in my case the midi files went automatically in to my EZdrummer sound’s folder (subfolder ‘midi’), as EZ drummer 2 was installed earlier, and still is. I found that it’s best to let the Toontrack SD3 default the VSTs and standalone where they want to, alas, otherwise things don’t work right as i found out …

If SD3 can’t find the sounds automatically you’ll have to redirect via the library settings page by adding the extra libraries you’ve bought.
