I couldn’t find the “Show Note Length” in the Envelope property box. And on a side note, actually i import an audio file that has the reverse cymbal sound into SD3 under “import audio file”. Hence couldn’t understand when you mentioned about the “cymbal header” in the Grid Editor.
When i right click on the Release Node in the Grid Editor, only the following attached screenshot is shown.
Is it possible to control the audio cut off with another trigger? what is the difference between “After touch” and “Note off”?
– The 2nd method (gather instruments so they use a common mixer channel) did helps and i can continue to add more instruments after that. However, it will still crash when an estimated 35+ channels are loaded in the mixer. I guess I will try to control the amount of instruments and channels in mixer.
– On another note, I don’t quite understand what you mean by
1) “start another instance of SD3 in Logic and add more instruments there” Do you mean Open Logic Pro program > Select Software Instruments > AU Instruments > Toontracks etc….?

2) “Use an empty preset so no drums that you already have in the first instance takes up unnecessary memory and CPU” Can you advise how to setup an Empty preset with no drums?
