That’s a tough one ……

Try experimenting with top and bottom snare mics and add a plug in compressor.

Back in those days they had a lot of bleed from other mics.

I right Click – Click Midi Learn – then try to assign to a button or key or pad and nothing will happen,

Follow Henriks advice : Simply disable “Follow Host” (by pushing that button, next to the song track play controls). When “Follow Host” is disabled, the internal song track in EZdrummer 2 won’t play when you play the song track in your DAW.

Still acting up, up against a wall, can’t figure this one out !!!! Sent the following to ” Contact Support “

ezdrummer 2 User MIDI Folders

this is a example … I CREATE A SONG – INTRO,VERSE,CHORUS – I CLICK ADD TO USER MIDI or I DRAG AND DROP IT IN THE USER MIDI Folder, so far so good, PROBLEM BEGINS WHEN I DRAG AND DROP THE BEATS FROM THE USER MIDI SECTION INTO THE SECTION LABELED ” Drag MIDI song blocks here ” The song/file/midi – whatever you wanna call it – that I dragged and dropped is now missing notes/beats/sometime whole sections.
For example lets say i have three parts #1 #2 #3, I color code them red green blue, i drag n drop to user midi, i rename it 123, i then drag n drop 123 back to the song block window to edit it, or add a part etc etc,,,,part #1 red and part #2 green and part #3 blue pop up in the song block window ! except now Beats/Midi Notes/ are missing/blank in half of #2 green and all of #3 blue is empty…..
This has been getting worse over the last two weeks….it does this in Cubase and Standalone.
I searched the forum and posted, but have not received a answer.
This is soooooooo Frustrating !

Hey ! Thanx for the reply,
So yea I ended up uninstalling and re-installing it. And most definitely make sure you update !
I think , well I know for certain what the problem was now ……
I installed some midi drum tracks/loops from http://groovemonkee.com/pages/free-midi-loops very cool stuff and free, but as I was reading and surfing I guess EZD n Toontracks don’t play well with third parties, so somehow i believe that was screwing with the database ( ? )
Bummer cause there were some really cool beats ,

I am running CUBASE 7 ELEMENTS and EZ Drummer 2
when i try to open more than one track of EZD 2 or when i try to multichannel ( i.e. separate Kick, Snare, Toms etc etc )
The following pop up windows appear and Windows freezes up ! ! !
I have attached pics of the windows.

I have un-installed and re-installed both programs, I even installed the 30 day trial of Cubase 7 Element and EZD 2 on a different computer and have the same problems.

I am running:
