It’s 2024 and they still haven’t provided any indicator of which grooves you dragged into your track/timeline. You have to remember, or guess, or use some AI tap2find nonsense.
Meanwhile a giant blue/purple/green bar is sitting over top of each groove that could easily show its origin in the library. Clicking a groove in the track could easily take you back to that spot in the library where you found it. This is basic user interface design 101. Think like the user. They have dragged a bunch of grooves into their track and have mucked around with them. Now they want to add some more.. what’s the first question they have now? It is “Where did I get this stuff from again?”.
Instead it’s 2024, and you click on the groove and get nothing. Just says “Verse”, or “Chorus” etc.. really? How does it know that if it also has no idea where the groove came from? Chorus of what? What family was it? What style was it? Nothing.
It’s 2024 and this is still an issue. Honestly if I had known before purchasing, it would have been a deal-breaker for me, especially since they are more than capable of providing this feature and haven’t bothered all this time – over a decade now? Too late I guess.
It’s 2024 and I’m sorry to say.. it still works exactly like this.
All 3 times so far I’ve gone in wanting to compose, the moment I can’t retrace my steps to find what grooves I dragged into the timeline, the whole creative process stops dead right there, for me, and probably many other people.
There’s even a horizontal bar above each groove of the track where they have plenty of space to display its origin, and allow you to click to get back to that spot in the library. It boggles the mind that even this simple common-sense feature isn’t there.
