Hello Brad, thank you.

I did it as you wrote me, it was going well ! But any further step, for example I want to bring another “macro” Preset which I generated days before in Pearl Kit now into the Gretsch Kit brings a crash.

Why does it crash and do not only “overwrite” the macros which I put before with these steps you told me from the Yamaha Kit into the Gretsch Kit. I can’t understand this.

Tell me if I am wrong when I take a Kit (Yamaha) then put some mixer and macros in it, than save this in the User-Preset Section of the Kit-Section.

Then I load another Kit (Gretsch) and want to “copy” these mixer and macros (from the before made steps) into the Gretsch Kit.

I mean, therefore is this functionality of the User-Preset where you can choose, for example only to take over the macros.

Am I wrong?

You wrote … what you are doing either. Yes, I think so too. Maybe one of the moderators (People at Toontrack) should read this thread? How can I reach that?

What I want is: I made a big collection of macros, first time in (for example) Yamaha Default Kit. Then I save these collection with “User Preset” “Save as”.

Am I right, the mixer settings which I maybe have changed will always be saved in this Presetfile.

So, now what I want is, for example, load another kit (like Gretsch Classic), that works. I get my Gretsch Classic Kit, but NOT MY MACROS and MIXER SETTINGS which I made in the Yamaha Default Kit before.

But I don’t want to build this all again step by step into the Gretsch Classic Kit.

Now, I mean I can “copy” these settings into the Gretsch Kit to have it there as if the Gretsch Kit is my first Yamaha Kit (without changing the Drums, that’s why “Load Drums” will not be enabled from my). Then I have all what I want but another Drumkit (Gretsch instead of Yamaha).

This is what I try to reach with the functionality over User Preset – Select parts.

But this does not work, it crashes SD3.

So, maybe I do something wrong or there must be a bug in SD3.

What do you mean?

Thank you, I try it now with Firefox instead of Safari, it works. Hope you can do something with the zip-file

Hello Brad, it is not only the present which I will sent, there are some screenshots too and it is now 5 MB big. But how can I sent the zip-file here in the forum. I found no information about it.

Thank you, I will.

I made screenshots (you can look at them using the time from beginning to crash) and put the Defaults and Presets Files although into the zip-file, too.

Hope that is enough, if not please write me.

Thanks for the reply, but I can’t work that.

I will try to define my problem a little bit more:

I have a project in which I defined some macros, I can see some, they are Blue lighted.

I close this project now and open a New project, with another drum kit. Now I want to have my macros from the project before loaded in this new project because here they are all empty at this time.

I hope I cold define what I mean.

I had that “white noise” too and found out the reason: Tape Simulator PlugIn in SD3 Mixer was used on one channel. Switched it off, no more noise was there.

Change the Output-Note on the TD27 Module from C#2 to D#0 (maybe D#1), what happens then?
