Buffer setting is 256. I’ve tried many presets. It is also the case without effects and reduced volume.

I changed the buffer size in all directions. But that brought no change.

I have the same problem with SD3 . I use a Roland V-Drums TD-10 test it with the Alesis d4 and a Fame DD. EZD have no dropouts. Addictive Drums work fine also Steve Slate Drums and BFD3 .Only SD3 has these dropouts when playing live.

EZD is more stable than the expensive SD3 version.

OSX Mojave 10.14.6

I forgot to say, Evil Drum SDX works fine in SD 2
