Another option you have is to enable MIDI out on the 1st SD3 plug-in (In settings > General)
Then in pro tools in the track for the 1st SD3 plug-in in the MIDI Output Selector (at the top of the track) select the second SD3 plug-in Channel 1
That will play the MIDI from the 1st SD3 plug-in in both it and the 2nd plug-in.

I’ve tried this MIDI out routing in the past but get latency. The drums are out of sync. I’m using Logic Pro on an M1 Mac so should have plenty of horsepower. Any tips? Thanks.
