I wrote about the subject a couple of years ago. Since then Toontracks has not been able to solve the issue. It is in this time and space that we must all look at the Company with the High standard in so many ways, not having the right people for this peticular job or secondly not having the will to deal with it. For sure one or the other, or otherwise they would have. It’s been a problem ever since the Very first release. So until they hire the right minds for the job we are screwed.
I have already described my problems at least 12 months ago in the Forum.
So after almost 3 years since I heard about the issue we haven’t had any solution from the Company so we have to acknowledge the fact that they dont have the brain capacity to solve the problem. Or in other words the employees don’t have the skills to do it. Otherwise they would have!!!! I have a list of 67 people that I stopped from buying the SD3 and the list is growing. When I showed them, some on my YouTube Channel, some in my classroom, how it behaved, the word was: how can a drum program be out of Rythm. And everybody was laughing. I told them to spread the word. I also told them this has been going on for years. They didn’t believe me me until I opened the forum and showed the first time customers were complaining . It’s close to being a scandal. But you lost me ….and a whole lot of other customers. We don’t care about famous people making fantastic sampling of drums and rooms, when in the end it’s a joke that can’t be used in real life.
What a shame. I dont use the SD3 any more. Toontrack… the hot air company

Thanked by: Studio ThumpHey BFC.
that sounds likely.
But shouldnt SD3 adjust to the latency in the visual representation?
I will make a simple setup with no plugins and check it out.
thx!
Best wishes

Hi.
I have the same problem concerning the cursor being 1/4 note ahead og the audio in the SD3 editor and makes it more or less useless!
It’s been a problem since 2017!
I am running the latest Logic Pro X.
Lowering buffersize, rec/ arm you name it , has been tried and nothing helps.
My MacBookPro is a 2018, 2,9 GHz and 16G ram. My SD3 is installed on a SSd running Thunderbolt 3.
Even running a small EZ Drummer setup inside SD3 is coursing the same problem.
Is there by any chance a solution on the way?? Its now more than 2 years since this problem was reported first time.
Regards
