Actually, I got it. I think I just got lucky the first time. It takes a little doing but balancing hits between D4 and C#4 (long and short) is the answer. Thanks again Shootie.

I’ve tried different note lengths and velocities in the piano roll C#4 and D4 (Ableton). I know that I’m doing something wrong. I made a track a few years ago where it responded properly without any effort (or skill) on my part. I thought I’d just go back and see what it looked like but apparently I hadn’t saved my work. I can’t even get it to sound right on the ‘Edit Play Style’ screen. Weird right?
