    Hi J

    I may not have been able to record the notes directly as the PT manual states( Pro Tools LE 7 Ignite 2nd ed. pages 257, 258). I think what I did before was to drag a groove in and then loop it as needed to get the basic track to work with and modify. Yes I have used EZ Drummer with my PT 7.4.2, and it still works great, just coming back to it and wanting to get everything working right as possible. Basically looping the groove does the same thing as what I am trying to start with.

    Here is a track I did several years ago with this set up;

    Thank you for the reply

    Found the regions vs. notes, very cool to move around the whole region. Thank you. Noticed if I drag a fill into an existing groove verse that when I try to drag around the fill it takes the whole region including the part of the verse I dragged it on top of. Will experiment a little bit with this.

    Thanks for your reply, was wanting to move the whole fill at once, not just a note at a time. When you drag it from the groove area when EZ Drummer is open and pull it into the track (midi) area and let go, the whole groove or fill won’t move. You can highlight what you just dragged in and delete, etc. but you can’t move it. Don’t know if I am explaining well.
