[Update on my post below]:
After forcing different driver settings onto EZbass and then switching back to my I/O settings as described below it is now working!!
I have no idea what it was … maybe I should have restarted my PC after the update (?). However, I can confirm that it is now working and reacting exactly how I was expecting it to.
Please disregard my description below. Maybe a system restart would have solved my issue after the update (?)

Just upgraded to version 1.0.4.
EZbass is still not recording audio from my AXE-FX III when in standalone mode.
I used the exact same I/O settings in my DAW (Studio One 4.6 – Input: “In 5” [Clean DI signal from the Guitar/Bass] | Output: Out Block 1, L&R]) and with the Audio Sender activated on an audio track recording into EXbass and transforming the recorded audio into MIDI does work without issues.
Seems like EZbass is still struggling with some ASIO drivers? I have the latest Axe-Fx III drivers installed, just note that the settings of the unit are fixed to 24bit/48kHZ (bit-depth and resolution locked to those settings by the manufacturer). Could that be a reason for EZbass not finding “usable” audio? (As mentioned in my first post, the Axe-Fx III works fine as an audio interface for both DAWs that I use [Cubase 10.5, Studio One 4.6] and for at least half a dozen standalone guitar/bass amp sims from Neural DSP, Mercuriall, etc.)
It would be much appreciated if you could fix that as I would love to use it to just gather new ideas without having to start the entire DAW every time.
Thanks!

Thanked by: Henrik EkblomI second what jbis is describing. Unlike his RME, I am using my AXE-FX III (latest USB driver version, latest firmware) as interface (fixed to 24bit 48kHz). I know exactly what inputs and outputs I have to select because I use the unit with a large number of other standalone applications (see attached example of one of my standalone guitar amp sim applications). The setting you see in the screenshot works with ALL other standalone applications I have but when I activate those in/out channels in EZbzss it still doesn’t record audio. I can easily name you 1/2 dozen applications where that setting does work.
Where is the input meter located on the EZbass window? As this specific section in the online manual is still empty (“8. THE AUDIO TRACKER TAB
This chapter is currently being edited and will be published soon.”) I couldn’t see where I am supposed to be looking. I certainly can’t see any moving bars on the screen when I send guitar or bass signal.
Let me know if you require any further info.
Thanks
I had a similar thing happening to me today. Added one track with a guitar DI track with single notes – Toontrack Audio Sender as plugin – and an EZbass track to test the recording functionality. That all worked fine but when I tried to remove the two added tracks from the song, Studio One (v4.6 w. latest updates) crashed.
I use Superior Drummer 3 and tons of 3rd party plugins and instruments but it’s the first time Studio One crashed on my PC. Removing a track, even if there are plugins loaded is the typical way I do it but it never resulted in a crash so far. Any suggestions what I may be doing wrong?
Thanks
