I was getting this error: couldn't communicate with a helper application when installing anything using Toontrack Product Manager 1.1.4 on OSX Sonoma 14.0.

Running this solved it: sudo launchctl enable system/com.toontrack.installer.helper. Nothing better than running a mystery command provided by strangers… YOLO!
