    Hi,

Has anyone addressed this issue?  I have SD 3 running previously on Mac and now Pc Win 11, and if I start sd3 before my audio interface (maudio8), sd3 will revert to pc audio and loose my mapped audio settings. Since I am mapped for mono and use this for live gigs, It’s a major issue.

    Any fix?

Hi And thanks for the support!!!  OK when I disconnect the USB cable or power down the DL16s,  SD 3 crashes .  When it comes up, settings are still good.  When I unplug the usb for the td30, SD 3 switches to computer only and connects back up the instant the usb is reconnected.

WHEN I cut the power to everything things get more difficult….   The laptop stays powered on battery with SD3 running, TD 30 and Mackie DL disappeared.  MAC switches output to MAC speakers, TD30 has to be reselected in midi settings (second test TD 30 reconnected automatically), Mackie has to be reselected in outputs, AND it has lost the settings since it switched over to the MAC speakers during the black out.  Oddly SD3 did not crash even though Mackie disappeared.

If the Mac/SD3 was not automatically switching to mac speakers, it would all reboot and the MAckie outputs would be there.

Not totally sure, I will test…..I have had an issue with the Mac and Mackie loosing sound output all together.  Its possibly cable related, so Ive ordered new cables for both connecting to TD 30 and MACKIE.   SD3  suddenly fails to see the Mackie, switches output to the MAC speakers, and thats when I am losing the settings.   When I get the two reconnected settings are gone.   I can recreate the same issue when I switch outputs as described above.   If it was to happen in a show, and I needed to reset the outputs, thats a killler….so I am trying desperately to solve the issue.  I like the sounds, want to use the product….

Maybe Im still doing something wrong, but I am sitting here in front of my Mac, not currently connected to Mackie DL16.  I set my output to my AirPods, set output to Multi, select output channel 1 (R) and change it to “none”, out channel 2 (R) to “none”, apply, save the entire project, close SD 3.  All good.  Open SD3 and project Output setting is still there.  but if I change the setting to my mac speaker output,  and then back to AirPod, the settings are lost, even if I don’t save and reopen.

Thanks!!! I was getting that impression from the monies and research but didn’t know if anyone had a better answer.

I have a mackie Dl16s I can usb out to, but getting compressed down to 6 channels, so I have room for the rest of the band has been rough.

thanks for the reply!  won’t that significantly change the sound from the intended recorded audio?

I am attempting you use a Mackie DL16s. I have not see latency issues so far.   I am having issues with using it for live mix.  I have the kick, snare, Tom, hh, oh, Amber, cmp…outputs sent to channel 9-14/15 on the board.  But the snare mike only adjust the snare maybe 20%, it more changes the sound than the volume.  I know this is due to the overheads, bleed, and compressor all having snare sounds in them, but dont see an easy way for the sound man to adjust the mix of snare/ Tom/ kick easily.  How are you all routing and then adjusting?
