I figured it out .., here’s what I did incase anybody else has this issue with triggering with the TD 15. I had to go to “audio Midi set up” found in the applications folder on my Mac. You have to activate the TD 15 by clicking on it. A computer rookie like myself doesn’t automatically know these things. Then you do what tech Scott said with picking the TD 15 in the midi drop down( make sure the box is checked) You click on e drums on the controller drop down and one last important thing. In the roland module you must do 2 things. First go to the midi section in the system section and turn local note chase to OFF. Then you must turn the midi lock off and set the roland to channel 10. And BAM!!!!! That was 2 days of hell but it feels good getting it going. Now my next question, Which Expansion pack is good for the most different acoustic drum sounds? I must say that the 20 or so different drum sounds is pretty lame in ez drummer. Am I missing something? Are there more sounds somewhere I’m missing? And yes I saw the cocktail kit.. Thanks guys.. Going to rock out!!!

Thanks for getting back to me.. Do you think I need to use a midi cable instead of the USB cable? It says “toontrack no midi device found” when trying to click on the midi Setting. Is this because I’m using a USB instead of midi cable or does this not matter? I also don’t see anything that says “my computer” under the audio device drop down. It says HDMI and TD 15 and one more thing on top(I’m at work and have to look again when I get home) Thank you

How come I’m getting a message that says no midi device found on toontrack solo? I have my drum kit plugged in with a USB cable? Do I need to use a midi cable or is a USB ok?
