There is no problem when applying the presets after having recorded a track.
The problem exists only when using in standalone mode.
Gerry
On most all of them.
I have to play with both the input and output knobs at the bottom of the main screen to reduce the interference
but it also affects sound and volume.
Gerry
I plugged in everything, set up the latency at 128. I get sound but with a lot of interference/issing.
In the manual, on page 10 paragraph 2 it says to ” see instructions later in the manual with respect to operating standalone version”….well I cannot find the info.
Is there by any chance an other manual where that info would show?
Thank you

.Basically, you are telling me that opening the EZMix and plugging my guitar in my audio box, everything should work fine. Right.
Thank you.

OS—-Windows 10
DAW—Sonar X3
EZMix 2 plug in version 2.1.1 build 10974
Pre Sonus —Audiobox USB

Thank you. But how do I get to it.
I verified and I cannot see it as an item in the menu.

Problem solved.
Was not creating a Sonar track the correct way.
There are two ways to open EZD track in Sonar which will work properly:
A) Simple instrument track……….synth track folder…….synth property page…..synth track view
B) Midi source…Synth track folder….ALL SYNTH AUDIO OUTPUT STEREO….synth property page……synth track view.
With the second way, the kick, snare, toms and cymbals can be alloted their own track.
If I discover anything new I will post it for everyone to see, if there are interested friends.

Thank you John.
I was doing as you suggested with my same results.
However by trial and error I solved the problem.
I was entering the track as a Midi source track which was giving me the Audio device issue.
By entering the track as a Simple Instrument track, everything is now running smoothly.

Hi John. I am not using it as a plug-in because when I do it tells me that I have no audio.
So I am using it as a stand-alone and trying to drag and drop.
This I can do but, the track shows up in my Sonar, but the sound I get is not the EZD one.
It seems to skip beats and not all the drum sound are there.
Regards
Thank’s
Gerry
Yes John. Both as used as plup-ins.
When I use them as stand-alone, there is no issue. Both work fine.
Basically what I am trying to do, is that I have a drum track/sound in EZD2 that I like and would like to incorporate it
on a Sonar track that I am working. I was able to drag and drop the the EZD track ( using EZD as a stand-alone) in the
Sonar project. However, the sound that I get is not the same as the EZD track.
It is not the mirror image of the EZD track for one reason or other.
Thank you for any input as I am fairly new at this. Not a pro… just an amateur retiree trying to enjoy.12

John, thank you for your reply.
But what if I want to keep both for a while.
I have the Windows 7 laptop that also runs Sonar X3 and and a whole lot of this type of software and I might want to dedicate that laptop to music.
Although it is a windows 7, everything runs smoothly.
This is a stupid wishful thinking question; If I ran both computers at the same time, would it be possible to copy/paste or drag/drop from one
computer to the other? This way I could run both computers with different software without overloading one or the other.
I guess this is really wishful thinking. Right.
Thank you for your support.
