Thanks for your patience, I just upgraded from S2 to S3, so I’m still learning. I got it all put together like you said and the end result is very close but it sounds like there’s some reverb on the BD, yet when I mute the reverb bus it doesn’t change it. I’m wondering if I just did something wrong or if you noticed the same.
When 1st load Andy Kit 1. I then selected the BD and selected BRK1 holding the ALt key and made the selections like you said. Then I imported the 3 channel Effects user presets you told me to save (Kick, Comp, Master) and then routed channel 1, ,2, 3 (Kick in, Kick out, Kick sub) to Kick bus.
I then changed the outputs of Kick, Comp, Master to out 1/2 and added a send in Kick bus to Comp bus. Does that all sound right? If so do you know why we’re getting similar to a slight reverb sound on the Kick?
Pretty amazing stuff. I tried it and ran into a snag finding an open bus in Andy’s kit. All the busses are named except the last one on the far right. I assume that’s the open one. So I assume i need to add some extra busses in order to have room for the 3 busses i saved in BRK 1 Channel Effects User Presets.
Also when I added the BRK 1 BD using the Parts Presets like you outlined, it does show up as fader 1 like you said. So do I only need to click on the word Reverb at the bottom of the fader and then choose out 1/2 in the list?
Hi,
I would simply load the Sneap Kit, select the Kick, then go to the Preset Menu and Alt-Click the Bob Rock 1 Preset to bring up the Load Parts window.
Then check ‘only selected instruments’ and ‘only selected channels’, then click ‘Load Parts’.
Unless I misunderstand?
BR,
John
I tried that and I’m still getting Andy’s BD settings. This is actually a great example to try this with, because these BD’s have so much FX and stuff on them, where you can clearly tell the difference.
Try this go to Bob Rock Kit 1 and listen to the BD. Then load Andy’s Kit 1 and hear the difference. Then try your method above and let me know what’s not getting copied over. Clearly there’s a ton of reverb on Andy’s BD, but I think there’s a lot more difference.

Thanked by: MaurockstarThanks for posting John. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling, not exactly like you suggested. But I did run into a very strange quirk. At one point I kept repeatedly installing Nashville EZX using the Product Manager and it installed it fine, but whenever I would close Product Manager the Nashville library would be deleted.
My solution ended up being finding a backup of the library under Program Files (x86) and copying that to my original location I used before installing S3. So now everything works and I’m finding the SD2 user presets. Have you ever heard of a library being repeatedly deleted by Product Manager before?
I didn’t manually load the EZX_Nashville library into S3. When I installed S3 I assumed it would automatically find the S2 libraries that I was already using and enter that info into S3.
So today I just opened S3 and chose Settings / Libraries I see the Nashville is listed there but it says “No installation info available”. I tried to point to the library, which didn’t work.
I then deleted the library from S3 and then chose browse for library path and pointed to the EZX_Nashville folder. It gave an error message: “no sound libraries found in selected directory”. The same library path works fine in S2
John your screenshot looks different from mine, in the sense that there’s no tab for S2 user presets. Above that I have “user presets” which is the S3 user presets. Maybe the tab for S2 user presets is created once S3 finds some 2.0 user presets
EZX_Nashville still plays fine in S2. Something seems very quirky to me, I hope someone can shed some light on how to fix this.
In Toontrack Product Manager I chose Install for the Nashville EZX and it install it on my samples SSD HD here
B:\SUPERIOR DRUMS 3\TT111_EZX_Nashville_WIN_153\Contents\EZX_Nashville
I opened superior 2 and unders Settings, changed the Library location for Nashville EZX. and saved a new combined preset and it got stored in the same location as before.
I opened Superior 3 , selected “Library presets” and selected User Presets and still only find the S3 user preset I created. I again hit rescan user presets and have no 2.0 presets that show up.
What can I do to fix this?
Hi,
do you have the Library active that you made the User Preset for? E.g. if I make a User Preset with the Indiependent SDX in Superior 2, it will not be visible unless that SDX is loaded.
BR,
John
I’ve been using Superior 2 for many years with the Nashville EZX. I just got 3.0 and am trying to make the transition.
You may be on to something, since there’s something quirky going on.
Here’s where my combined preset got stored
E:\Documents\Toontrack\Superior2\PresetsEZX\EZX_Nashville\Combined
Superior 3 is also in that folder tree
E:\Documents\Toontrack\Superior3\PresetsEZX\SL-SUPERIOR_DRUMMER_3\S3Presets
In Toontrack Product Manager strangely Nashville EZX is showing that its not downloaded. Yet it is, since its the main library I use and the basis for the combined preset. I’m reluctant to choose “download” for Nashville EZX, since I don’t want 2 instances.
Possibly this is the problem, even though Superior 2 is finding the Library, Toontrack Product Manager is not. What do you suggest?
