As with Hans, I play piano/keyboards and sing and will be using ToonTrack software to create percussion groove tracks which I’d like to save to a memory card and plug into the card slot on my keyboard. The problem with Garageband is that it doesn’t export as MIDI which is all my keyboard will accept. The iPod will accept Garageband exported files but I’d rather use the card option as it would be simpler to control with less gear to drag around.
Great post… pretty close to what I’m doing with my own Casio PX-3 keyboard. Question: I have EZDrummer and a Latin Percussion extra… Do I need EZPlayer to export in the above fashion as MIDI, or is it possible with ToonTrack Solo? I have been using Garage Band and an iPod but would like to eliminate the iPod and just use the memory stick for the keyboard. EZPlayer looks interesting and would be cheaper than Logic, or one of the other sequencers.
