Having to pick six first it total BS. I have almost every MIDI pack. I only want one right now and want to save my other choices for later.

If you can’t do that, I’m done with you folks.  You want to piss off one of your best customers – have at it. Tell Rikk.

I expect a new offer for the 20% off to use after this cutoff date.

Or are you going to be the next company to go stupid and kill off your base?

    Just askin’.

Should I rename the EZdrummerINSTALL folder back to EZdrummer, or leave it?

This is what I now see in the library:

Got it!  Asked for permission, etc. Looks like everything is loaded now. Also checked SD3, and it re-populated with everything when I launched the program. Just need to look each one over closer to make sure everything is showing up, but looks like it is at first glance.

    Thanks!

And, like the first time, when starting EZD, it generated a brand new folder that I just renamed, in exactly the same spot.

Actually, I changed the name EZdrummer to 1Mayo, and EZD2 still loads fine and shows all libraries installed on the machine.

Just to confirm, the path is Mac HD > Library > Application Support > Toontrack > EZDrummer.

That should not impact your description of.  Mac HD > Library > Application Support > EZDrummer ?

This is the folder on the external. Purely expansions and midi

Other than the two EZXs that loaded with EZD, I have I believe 57 other EZXs and Midi packages all on an external hard drive that I moved from the old computer to the new one. I just went into the Program manager and looked up Action EZX. It was still authorized for the old computer and I released it. It says in order to authorize it for the new computer, I must first install it. If that is the case, that’s an awful lot of work to do for 57 packages.

    Is there a workaround?

    I did exactly that.

Mac HD > Library > Application Support > Toontrack > EZdrummer is where the files are.

    The EZdrummer folder “where” is:

Mac HD > users > glbrody >application support > Toontrack

I first installed SD3 and the 5 or so SDX expansions I had. Those reside on my Mac HD. I was just trying to emulate the structure I had on the old computer.

    Hi John-

I altered the folder exactly as suggested. I even rebooted the computer. When you open up EZD2, you can see the new EZdrummer folder created right in from of you. Here is the expanded view of the files.  When restarting the program, both EZD programs show up as well as all of the SD3 programs I already have installed. No errors.

But I’m wondering why there should even be an error, since this fresh install doesn’t even know I have the other 50+ programs (including midi)

So I guess the real question is: With the fresh install of EZD2, how can I associate ll of the programs sitting on my external hard drive without actaully installing them within the program?

FYI, I did do full install of all my SDX programs for SD3.

I changed the name of the folder as suggested. When I restarted EZD2, it automatically created a brand new EZDrummer folder that I just altered.

The fact that I also have SD3 on the machine may be playing a role, not sure.

Here is what the hierarchy looks like:

    Toontrack

    EZdrummer

    Product Manager

    Superior2

    Superior3

Just got it. I guess the 40th try is the charm 🙂 Thanks for the help.
