Okay, you guys took care of it.
Thanks so much.
I’ll make sure to double check if I already have a certian product.
Sorry for the late reply.
After installing on my MacMini Intel, I searched for all the folders it created and uses, then I just copied those to my MacMini M1.
When I load any of the Toontrack products in Logic Pro X, if they weren’t authorized, that’s when the Toontrack product will authorized.
EZKeys is a Universal Binary 2 yet the installer requires Rosetta 2 to be installed. Why?
I think I know why, it’s a small oversight that will be fixed in the future. But even if you could install this update without Rosetta, there is no EZkeys library installer yet that doesn’t require Rosetta.
I already solved that issue as well.
Guys like Soundiron and 8Dio put their big downloads in split-able RAR files, then we download each link and UNRAR the first to get the folder of the library we purchased.
You guys should have done the same thing, when I use your “installer”, it just downloads a DMG file. I see no benefit of your “installer”.
So I solved this library issue by just zipping up my EZkeys folder in Application Support on my registered MacMini (Intel), then simply copied that to the Application Support on my MacMini (M1).
So now all my purchased libraries and MIDI files are seen in EZkeys when I load it in Logic Pro.
Oh, and I extracted the files for the EZKeys update using The Unarchiver.
Once I wanted to use the sound libraries in EZKeys, I just registered again after I freed up one license on a computer I wasn’t going to be using and now everything is working on my MacMini (M1) without Rosetta 2.
Man, you guys just make things so difficult.
Get rid of that stupid “installer” you have, it’s completely useless.

The EZkeys update has been released.
EZKeys is a Universal Binary 2 yet the installer requires Rosetta 2 to be installed. Why?
I’m not installing Rosetta 2 because I don’t want Intel applications on my M1.
FabFilter has their installer Universal Binary 2 which means they can install without Rosetta 2, hence, the whole process is Universal Binary 2 from installer to the installed application.
Here’s my post about this issue.
Turns out it was still a duplicate time signature but it was putting in the wrong time signature too.
https://www.toontrack.com/forums/topic/time-signature-with-duplicate-starting-timestamps/
I reported this awhile ago and explained to them the issue.
I’ll explain it again with this picture again.
There is 2 time signatures at the same time position, zero in this case. This is the issue.
When I drag other midi files from other sources, they only have one time signature and only one midi track will be created in Logic
Can any of you post a midi fie you’re having issues with.
I want to see if the double time signatures at the same time position still exists.
Again, I reported this awhile ago.
So this isn’t important to me anymore.
By accident, I was able to create my own EZKeys type of application using the Scripter in Logic Pro X.
I’m also able to use the EZKeys MIDI Packs that I purchased as well.
It was a total accident, I was actually coding something else.
And yes, this is all Apple Silicon, no Apple Intel.
So you don’t need to reply to this post.
You can change any of the EZKeys chords the same way you can in EZBass using the Chord Wheel
Manually yes I know I can do that but I just want to drag-and-drop from EZBass into EZKeys.
Is drag-and-drop from EZBass into EZKeys possible?
Reply To: EZBass chords into EZKeys version: 1.0.5
Operating system: macOS High Sierra (10.13)
Notice the chords from EZBass and when I dropped them into EZKeys.
I’ve already tried that.
I’ve merged before drag-and-drop as well.
Look, if EZBass to EZkeys and keeping the chords doesn’t work, I’m fine with that.
I’d just like Toontrack to say it doesn’t work just so I don’t waste me time reading and testing. 🙂

Sure, here it is:
TimeSig_test
Not sure how you created those multiple time signatures using EZKeys, maybe you can post a video that shows that.
In the meantime, watch this video that shows the time signature issue with EZKeys that I’m talking about.
Even Logic set the time signature to the last time signature in the MIDI file created with EZKeys, which is incorrect because I set the time signature to 6/4 not 4/4 in EZKeys.

Hi,
if I create and Export a MIDI file on the EZkeys Song Track, where I drag down MIDI with different Time Signatures, it gets properly read in Logic, i.e. Time Signature changes where expected. Do you have Logic?

BR,
John
Can you post that MIDI file that you said you created and was read properly in Logic.
