fridaykrI don’t think I am trying to render in faster than real time. I simply armed an audio track and hit record.
fridaykrUpdate. for the problem I described above, I was controlling SSD with a separate MIDI track. For some reason, when I moved the MIDI directly onto the SSD track, the recorded output now sounds normal. I am baffled, but I will take it.
fridaykrThank you. I was able to select an external SsD drive for all the library sounds.
