  • Yes I know, but why no PDF with a clear index and structure? That would be a great help.

    This is fixed in 3.0.3.
    Thanks!

We have found the bug, and a fix will be included in the next release (3.0.3).
If one wants to be technical it is the Macdrive software that does not support the Windows function ReOpenFile.

    That would be great!

Superior 3 requires some additional files compared to SD2, so probably something did go wrong when you updated your library. Could you try and compare the library on Windows and Mac and see if there are any files missing?
You could also try and install the latest update from the Windows machine and see if that helps.

All the latest updates are installed from the windows machine also.
Still the same thing: on mac everything works, on windows only the EZX’es work, SD3 lib and all SD2 libs give message that the lib is damaged and ask to reinstall them.

I even installed the product manager on windows. The product manager says that everything is installed and up to date.

    This is maddening.

We would very much like you to send us the contents of your errlog.doc file. It is located in %ProgramData%ToontrackSuperior3 (this path can be pasted in the address field of an Explorer window).

    There is no err
    log.

    Hi,

if you start the Product Manager on your Win10 PC, does it tell you that there are library updates for your EZX:s and SDX:s?

    BR,
    John

Actually, on windows all ( up untill SD3) was installed before the introduction of the Product Manager.
I am hesitant to re-install everything with the product manager, because I am rather busy these weeks. So I installed SD3 on windows without the product manager.
Anyway the same lib that is giving message of damage in SD3 on windows is up to date and works well with Mac osx.
So therefore this question: SD2 works well with the same lib for win and mac on an external hdd. Is this true also for SD3?

    @Christoffer said:
How is your external HDD formatted? We recommend that you use FAT32 or ExFAT formatting for discs that you use for both platforms.

No way that I am going to use FAR32 or ExFAT. I use Macdrive and the hdd is Mac OS Extended (Journaled).
Macdrive works perfectly in windows with everything I use, including Pro Tools. It works wel with SD2 with the libs on a hdd formatted asMac OS Extended (Journaled).
So again this question: SD2 works well with the same lib for win and mac on an external hdd. Is this true also for SD3?

    BUMP
