Hey Jman,
I am still working with the sensitvity..
However, I did move the large piezo to the outside of the box, about an inch from the edge of the bottom of the ecymbal.
It is working pretty good, I still need to get used to when the edge will trigger.
Also the jack inside there is very very cheap… I had to repair that is several places, I really need to just buy a new jack, and get rid of the circuit board.

Success!
I moved the large piezo to the outside of the case, near the edge.
Double sided taped it to bottom near the edge.
Rewired according to beatnik!
I now have a hihat, 2 zone.
I changed the pad type to cy on the td-3.
Some minor adjustments to come. Now I get bow and edge sounds based one where I hit.
I can’t wait for my piezos to come in the mail.
Next up add a second zone to the hart ecymbal 14″ crash to become a ride cymbal with bow and edge and bell on velocity hit.
Then a second zone for the hart 12″ crash to allow edge and bow.
Then create a third cymbal for the crash3.
