That’s exactly what has happened. I just ignored that step because everything seemed to be working ok. The cool thing is, I have all these great drum kits to explore now.

Thanks, Scott. That did it! Strange, I installed Vintage and Classic this past weekend, and both played without me having to do that. It had been a few months since my last install of an ezx and I had forgotten about that drop down window.

I found a page on the web that helped me figure this out. The files are general midi files and didnt open directly like those from groove monkee, for instance. Here is the link in case anyone else out there is as easily confused as i am, lol.
