Got to necro this thread a bit… I am a recently new EZD3 user. I found some drum maps for Cubase that some gentle souls provided, but alas! not for my newly acquired Singer Songwriter EZX. I’ve found one for Studio 1 (pitch names) on their exchange site, but I need to be a S1 owner to download them. Bummer.

I don’t expect a vendor to provide drum maps/pitch name list/whatever they are called for each DAW, but it would be reaaaally nice if they provided them in some form of structured data. IN EZD, you can already show the MIDI Mapping Layout via the Help menu, and you can print it. So they have the information already as structured data. A simple export as CSV/JSON/XML would be really helpful, I can easily write a script that converts those to whatever I need.

OK, ignore the question, I misunderstood the description and noticed that the “Add” button is greyed out, as I don’t have a upgradeable license… move along, nothign to see here 😉

Oops, fun stuff, the forum software doesn’t really check for HTML code, it seems… (I just copy+pasted the section from the shop into the editor). Some Admin should check that out, maybe it is even possible to inject unhealthy stuff into the site…

This is what I mean in clear text:

I am pondering the purchase of EZDrummer or SD. I have an EZDrummer Lite license in my account. When I click “Add to cart” on SD or ED, I get two options, “Regular” and “Upgrade”. When I click on the latter, I get:
THIS VARIANT REQUIRES A COPY OF ONE OF THE FOLLOWING PRODUCTS:
    EZdrummer – DVD Edition
    EZdrummer – Lite Upgrade
    EZdrummer – Multi License
    EZdrummer – Regular
    EZdrummer 2 – Lite Upgrade
    EZdrummer 2 – Regular
    EZdrummer 2 – Upgrade
    EZdrummer 3 – Regular
    EZdrummer 3 – Upgrade

Is my “EZdrummer – Lite” the same as “EZdrummer – Lite Upgrade”? This is a bit confusing and I don’t want to buy an upgrade license which doesn’t work.

Why can’t the shop system check in my account and verify that I am eligible for an upgrade?
