I found that EZKeys is installed in my library “application support” folder with contents. two folders, “EZK-GRANDPIANO” and “Midi” folders, with content.
So now, when I go to install the downloaded EZKeys player update, the file is empty as I attempt to install. Just after I ‘agree’ to the terms, the next installation screen has no package listed, so therefore nothing to install.
as a note, the only available downloads in “my account” are EZKeys for MAC 1.0.4, which downloads and opens as an “upgrade”
I have an upgrade tab on “My account” that has a player update, as well as a library update.
this is the only thing contained in that file:
bplist00—YSoundPath_#/Library/Application Support/EZkeys;
I was able to delete it, as well as anything else EZKeys related, went to try a fresh install, but nothing.
I’m able to download the file, go through all of the installation steps, but nothing ends up on my computer somehow.
I am trying it now, as I’m typing…
on the installation screen, it says it will be installing EZKeys Grand Piano as the package name, and under action, it says Upgrade, size is 535MB.
Is this the problem? The only download link on my account is for the upgrade, is there a root file that I am missing now that I deleted all EZKeys related files?
nothing comes up in the spotlight search for ezkeys.app, and navigating to the VST plug ins folder did not have any ezkeys files.
the only two things that come up in spotlight when searching ‘ezkeys’ is:
com.toontrack.ezkeys.plist
Installerlog.log
I uninstalled everything, started from the beginning…no problem installing EZKeys Grand Piano, latest version. Next, I downloaded MAC Player, 10.6 and up (I’m running 10.9.5), and there is nothing in the package, so when I run the installation, the space below “Package Name” has nothing, and there’s nothing to install so the “install” button is greyed out.
When I download and run it, it installs up until the actual installation (when it gets to “installation type”). Even if I go to uninstall, it claims there are no files to select to uninstall. There is nothing listed under package name, as if there is nothing in the file to install.
I was able to go through the installation, and all of the steps. This is for Grand Piano 1.0.4
The installer dialogue box claimed it had been successfully installed, but when I go to the Toontrack folder, the only thing in there is a folder called “documentation”
Mac OS 10, EZKeys. Used the uninstaller app for all, then reinstalled. The goal was to move EZkeys to an external HD.
