I agree.  This should be an easy to execute function.  A lot of non Metal tunes are in alternate and weird tunings… heck so are some country songs.  In fact every style I have ever encountered some times uses alternate tunings and Guitars themselves including Bass are being mass produced for specific alternate tunings.  Would be a wise venture to make the tuning drop down menu actually work.  It cant be that hard.

How about tuning up 2 half steps.  I tried that and it did nothing to the bass.  In other words I am playing with a guitar in C# so I want my low string to tune that way to make things ez.  Only it doesn’t seem as ez as I would like.  How do you actually tune the bass or is the drop down menu on the left of my screen not working?  I hope I am just having a Dah moment.

I use an app from fingerlab DM1 on my ipad to easily input the hits I want and then just import it into EZDrummer.  I get exactly what I want that way.  Then use Edit Play Style in EZD to bring the velocity to where I want as well as create variations of my pattern.  It takes a couple extra steps but it is doable.  Yes it would be great if EZD had a built in Step Sequencer.  I hope they do.  It would be an upgrade worth the $$.
