The only thing I can think of is the mic routing. With the snare selected in the Drums tab, if you click More then select Route Instrument Microphones, are the “close” SD Top and SD Bottom routed to SD top mic and SD bottom mic? I had the same exact issue with some cymbals and noticed that they weren’t routed correctly.
