Having the same issue here with SD3 and my RME UFX2. Drivers and firmware are up to date.
Definitely has something to do with my audio device. It started crashing when I selected the RME interface. I got it to work once but now it crashes when I startup SD3 and it starts checking my outputs. Immediate crash to desktop.
