It would be fantastic if “Humanize” or something similar could be turned of in order to achieve consistency. There is some randomness involved. Recording my mouse clicks on the piano UI (Keys) I read in the Grid Editor following values:

    Fourth group in the picture:

    Note: C3 D3 E3 F3 G3 A3 B3 C4
    Velo: 89  87  92 77 80 84 87  78

The drop between E3 F3 from 92 to 77 is very exaggerated and somewhat unpleasent. Some “humanization” may be ok, but this is particularly pronounced.

A feature to deactivate “randomness” or “humanization” would be perfect.

    First run
    Note C3 D3 E3 F3 G3
    Velo 80 82 85 77 74

The second time (again mouse click on individual notes)
    Note C3 D3 E3 F3 G3
    Velo 81 91 88 94 82

Only if I produce the sound in the Grid Editor with “Humanize” deactivated, I read on all keys consistantly a velocity of 76.

    Thanks for the tip.
I have recorded C3 up to G4. I triggered the notes in the EZkeys UI with mouse click to the piano keys itself:
And this is what I read in the Grid Editor:
    Note C3 D3 E3 F3 G3
    Velo 80 82 85 77 74

The second time (again mouse click on individual notes)
    Note C3 D3 E3 F3 G3
    Velo 81 91 88 94 82

The behavior is even with mouse click in the UI not consistent.

Only if I produce the sound in the Grid Editor with “Humanize” deactivated, I read on all keys consistantly a velocity of 76.

This suggest to me, that some kind of “Humanize” is active during key strokes via key press and mouse click on UI.

After I noticed the differences playing on my keyboard, I triggered the notes in the EZkeys UI with mouse click to the piano keys itself.
