Hello,
I’ve been using Addictive Drums 2 “Studio Rock,” and with the tempting Black Friday Sale at BFD Drums, I’m considering diversifying my plugin collection. Currently, there are two significant sales – one for the BFD3 plugin and another for the expansions packs (London 70’s & Dark Mahogany) compatible with the newly released BFD Player. I’m torn between the two options and seeking advice on which would be the better investment.
The BFD Player left a positive impression on me with its fantastic drum sounds, and I’m inclined to explore further. I received an email offer allowing me to snag the two player expansions for just 14.99€ each, totaling around 30€. On the other hand, the Black Friday Sale includes the BFD3 Software at a tempting price of 49€. Additionally, there’s a sale on GetGood Drums, featuring attractive deals on “One Kit Wonder” packs for pop punk at just 37€.
I enjoy playing Pop Punk tunes akin to Paramore, Wonder Years, or Blink. While GetGood Drums seems fitting for this genre, the BFD3 Software boasts a more realistic tone with a diverse range of sounds in their kits.
P.S. I’m curious if BFD3 allows for importing custom samples from other libraries to create personalized kits, a feature I don’t believe is available in the BFD Player.
As I weigh my options, I’m also contemplating the possibility of Black Friday deals on EZDrummer or SSD5. Any recommendations or insights on the BFD Player Expansions, BFD3 Software, or GetGood Drums would be greatly appreciated. Should I wait and explore other potential Black Friday sales?
Thanks you so much!
