There is a four string bass option! I do think that is a good option too. How do I select that.
After rescaling the standalone version and temporally removing the VST3 version, as advised by Phil. I seem to have scaling working again. Thank you for your help. I think this issue is now solved.
No it dosen’t crash in standalone mode. However it makes no differnce. I am still left with the upper left part of the screen (25%). As I said if I try to rescale anything it instantly crashes when in Cubase. This only started after updating to EzBass 1.1.1. Plus it only happens in two Cubase projects. The rest seem fine. But I dare not touch the rescale items incase it happens to them too.
Thank you for your support. I have tried all of the above. In fact when I try to reset scale and size everthing crashes. This is why I am on here requesting help. When ever I select anything to do with scaling it crashes.
Well we have moved to Cubase 11.0.41 as this topic progresses. Still have the same problem. I can’t touch the scaling as it causes an instant crash in Cubase. So I get a plugin window that just shows the top left corner of the window. It makes the the whole thing unusable. If you are going to do updates can you make sure they fucking work.
Could this be related to my scaling problem?
Whilst I love the fact that you support us so well. I don’t get why you would not update EZKeys to support full screen. I am a software engineer of some forty years. The only thing I hear is management saying don’t do that because that is the single biggest selling point of our new version. Why do I say say that! Well in Cubase I have the option to make it bigger with the window resize. It doses not track properly but that is proof that it can be done. So your excuses for the software being crap just doesn’t have legs. You could and can fix this problem you just choose not to for marketing reasons. The upgrade to EZKeys better be cheap or you will lose me as customer for the reasons I have just said.
Thank you. I guess I was overthinking it! I knew that EZBass and SD3 had EBX expansion capabilities. But I wasn’t sure about EZKeys. That’s good news.
Yes that fixed it. Thank you! I knew I had it working with 1.3.2 at one point. Looks like I will be joining the queue for the updated/new larger window version too.
I am experiencing this problem with Cubase Pro 11 too. I have tried removing the EzKeys track and creating it again but that hasn’t helped. It was working perfectly before 1.3.2, although I can’t be sure that the update is the cause. I am using a project with just EzKeys, EzBass and SD3. Both EzBass and SD3 are tracking Cubase perfectly, the cursors are moving. I have toggled the follow host on/off that makes no difference. The EzKeys track is playing perfectly otherwise. It is just the cursor is stationary. Anybody got any suggestions as to what I have missed.

Thanked by: HenryHave you considered giving us a chance to help you. Maybe you are just a lost cause.
If I understand you correctly this time. Instrument rack is a plugin you are using in Ableton. I too am not a Ableton user. This idea of having instances of SD3 queued up and playing doesn’t seem like a good idea. However, I like experimenting too. Are these instances actually running but not being used/heard in the background?
Sounds similar to what I do. I send separate instances of SD3, EzKeys and EzBass, sometimes two instances of EzKeys as output. They go into a 24 track recorder/mixer. I use Cubase 11 as my DAW. Latency is always an issue when doing stuff like this. I hit the same problem using the Yamaha ASIO driver that came with Cubase. The settings for the Yamaha ASIO are very limited. When I am doing the output to the recorder I go via a Steinburg UR816C audio interface. Plus two stereo tracks direct to the recorder. When I am doing this I use ASIO4ALL as my ASIO driver. This allows me to output to the two separate USB devices simultaneously. You also do this in Calkwalk using the WDM ASIO driver. The main difference between the Yamaha and ASIO4ALL drivers is configuration. The ability to tweak the ASIO4ALL driver settings means I can get rid of any nasties that occur. I don’t think I would try this live however. I would use the recorded stuff from my 24 track recorder/mixer for live stuff. Hope this helps.
