Wow. You have some serious skills, my friend. I’ll try to post something of my own, but that’s a hard act to follow.

Sorry- meant Scott. BTW, Scott, I noticed it says you’re from Western MA- I’m from Northampton myself 8)

To add to what Scott said, if you don’t need a multi-out setup, you can just untick ‘Add all softsynth outputs’ in the ‘Insert softsynth options’ page in Sonar. Then inserting EZdrummer will only add the track folder, one audio track, and one midi track.

Let me get it straight: you can get sound previewing the grooves inside EZdrummer itself, but get no sound when you drag them into the track in Sonar? What it sounds like you’re doing is dragging the midi grooves onto EZdrummer’s audio track, rather than it’s midi track. When you inserted the instance of EZdrummer in Sonar, it should’ve created two tracks inside a track folder (which will have a folder icon); one with an icon that looks like an audio waveform, and one with an icon that looks like a hardware midi port. The latter is the midi track, and you need to drag the midi grooves onto this track.

Either that, or you need to look under ‘VST Plugins’ in the Sonar insert-softsynth dropdown- this is where Sonar places any VSTs that were placed in your VST plugins folder itself rather than in their own folder inside that folder.
