You have to upgrade to EZ Mix 2.0 and or above !!!
Are you running 32 Bit or 64 Bit….. If your Computer is a Windows Pc …. for Example …Copy the 64 Bit dill ( do not move the dill….. you can still leave the original dill in place)of Toontrack and paste the 64 bit dill into C Drive /Program Files /VST Plugins . For 32 Bit …..Copy the 32 Bit dill ( do not move the dill….. you can still leave the original dill in place)of Toontrack and paste the 32 bit dill into C Drive /Program Files (x 86)/VST Plugins . Only install one …you don’t have install both ( so if your Pc in a Windows 64 install the 64 Bit )
Try …delete download and then try it again or watch this first https://youtu.be/VTN5EE1atFc and https://youtu.be/zVto6NvnTT0
Sample rates have to be the same !!! Set both to same value . Start with 128
Hi Simone …. So first you downloaded “Toontrack Product Manager ” right ? How long did that take ? …. What browser are you using to download ? Try using “Google Chrome” …. I’m not a Mac user but …. Make sure your … Internet Security allows “Toontrack products.. and try it again !!! … If problems still persist ….come back and let me know !!! … I had this problem a few years ago …. It’s an Internet safety issue that we have to address !!! If you can for own good …if you can create another support topic … But say >>> ( Having problem downloading … I have fast internet but the download speed is really slow which is not normal …Please help !!! ) Watch these videos in full (1) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zVto6NvnTT0 (2) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PRCSGB5NfsM (3) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QqT2vi2Woz4 (4) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oyb6Ah5ctBM
The Audio out has no place to go from the software………not assigned properly ….What is your playback device…….since you have the Ez Drummer 2 on a Pc ….the Audio is sent to the Pc’s Audio card which is not the Korg D3200 which has it’s own audio out to your speakers …I’m guessing….The settings in Ez Drummer 2 has to be changed so that audio is sent properly to the Korg D3200 …..If the Pc and Ez Drummer 2 does not see the Korg D3200 listed in your devices in it’s setting is not good either …..When the Korg D3200 is seen as a device ….then open your open your “sound control panel “settings and make the Korg D3200 the default device as your “playback device” ….. then in “sound control panel ” go to “recording” tab and choose your recording device “Korg D3200 ? ” the default and save ….Hope I helped you some how !!! you have to some what do this with Ez Drummer 2 settings and your Pc .
I’m getting the random crash’s also ….Started about a week ago….It’s not in my settings “nothing was changed”…. And it’s very early just a few tracks in Studio One 4 Pro DAW ( couple of guitar tracks and and one track running SD3 )… The audio interface ( StudioLive 24 Series III mixer )disconnects and then reconnects……… the sample rate is 64 or 128 ….with around 2.6 to 5.2 latency….. The audio interface disconnects and then reconnects only when using SD2 2.4.4 or SD3 3.1.7…. I use to get the error “Audio Engine Inactive” for longest time but that has gone away ….but now I get the random crash….. I’ve tried different audio interfaces to see if it is the cause…. concluding the audio interface are not the problem !!! It’s something else….It only happens when using Toontrack drum products at the moment !!! I have not had time to look further at the moment !!! Seems to be a sample rate issue !! When I have the sample rate lower to have latency to be no hearing issue it crashs ….but if I set sample rate higher and then having latency hearing issues it does not crash … when it crashs even the SSD drive where my saves are disconnects ?
Install “ToonTrack Manager” first It it always a good Idea to register new ToonTrack products in Toon Track Manager… There you add new Toontrack Products serial numbers if they are not allready supplied by “Toon Track Manager” ….. Once the serial number is in place “Registered” …. you then down load the product “Threw ToonTrack Manager ” ( choose 32 bit or 64 bit download …. depends on your machine “computor is 32 or 64 bit” ) and also use ToonTrack Manger to get updates for all ToonTrack Products….from that time after …. open up “Toontrack Manager” every once and while to see if there is a “New Update ” for your ” ToonTrack Products ” and download and install them ….. It will keep you up to date !!!
I have more then 2 Pcs ( Machines )with Toontrack on them …..You can down load to as many machines as yo want but will have to deauthorize any machine to authorize another ,,,you can only run 2 machines per…..I never have to run more then 2 machines at a time …. you do this all in product manager in the “show details” > “authorizations” ( which shows your all your machines authorized and which ones are de authorized ) in each of your toon track down loads. Start off with the program it self “Easy Drummer 2 ” or “Superior Drummer ” ,”Etc.” Programs and also to each “EZX expansion” and or “SDX expansion” , Etc. …….and just Authorize and De Authorize
My Audio interfaces that are at my disposal are either “Presonus” ,Studiolive 24 Series III ,Studio 1824C, or Studio 26C all are using Asio drivers with Studio One 4 Pro Software running Windows 10 64 or Windows 7 64 Running in stand alone or in DAW ……..I get same problem so if your answer is (The Audio Engine Inactive is just a visual cue that says that Superior Drummer 3 hasn’t got any place to send the audio to.) How do I fix ? How is this even happening ?I’m trying to setup Roland Td-50 to run Easy Drummer 2 and or SD3 for first time…
Yes …. you may have 2 computers running the software at same time …. you can download to as many Computers as you want but have to switch to 2 that software is used on … in Toontrack Product Manager …. I myself would redownload to new Computer via Toontrack Product Manager so your computer knows where all files are stored and not copy and paste . But if you know what you are doing … go ahead but not recommended !!!
Got the same problem and don’t know how to fix “Audio engine inactive check your audio device ” Get this message on 2 Pc’s (1 windows 7 64bit) and (1 Widows 10 64 bit) I’m trying to setup Roland Td-50 to run Easy Drummer 2 and or SD3 for first time… Do I have My settings wrong ?
I got same problem “Audio engine inactive check your audio device” ….. and I don’t know how to fix on 2 windows pcs (windows 7 pro 64bit) and (Windows 10 home 64 bit )
