Sadly the problem wasn’t solved , settings got switched back to DTX 700 Â which was how it all appeared ok . Switched back to DTX Pro and there are still problems with Ride , Hi Hat etc. , even after changing module to no 1 Absolute kit . Apparently there are a few bugs affecting some e kit presets within SD3 ( The new DTX Pro one included ) that are due for a fix .
If the quality is the same as Legacy of Rock then i will be highly delighted . Only a day to go to 🙂

Its a nuisance remapping hi hat positions , and also multi ride zones , and to do this every time you change library is an unwanted chore .
It’s obviously better if the defaults work properly . But maybe not everyone feels like that : there are possibly some people ( may be the sort of person that decides to make pointless and unhelpful comments when a problem has already been solved ) who enjoy remapping their midi multiple times  instead of doing something more productive.
Thank you very much for the help . To be honest the DTX Pro worked quite well under the Yamaha 700 setting . I have now got it working perfectly (with the new DTX Pro setting ) and the solution was actually really simple : make sure module is set to default kit number 1 ..absolute maple I think . Now everything triggers as it should with all correct voices and no fiddling with the ride necessary .
Is this the longest time so far there hasn’t been an expansion for the Superior Drummer series ? I bought SD3 just after LOR was released. So not really familiar with the release schedule.  I have Decades, Hansa , LOR and D&D . I don’t think the old SDX’s are going to be worth buying for mainly e drumming.
You would have thought there would have been an announcement by now if something was going to come out this year.
