ahaha, wow, you’re correct lol,at first, it was setup in Cmajor, and i changed it to Cm using the “no transpose” AFTER doing the conversion lol !

ho my 🙁 really, it needs some nice tutorial, it’s mainly a bad use of the software (on my case anyway). i learned more in this topic that since i purchased it, thank you very much for the help all the best !!

thanks for the tip  about the * , didn’t know that too !

here, anyway he couldn’t correct anything (lol), Patitucci played a Cm line(Cm7sus4) but all his long C note was taking one full bar, so Ezbass couldn’t know it was a Cm because the Bb, Eb and F note where played far after. and as C and Bb is seen as a C7 and 7 is not part of ez bass (yet ? 😉 )

all this is very interesting anyway, lovely piece of software, bravo !!! :-).

    Hi thanks for the infos.

    • i deleted the user midi i had before, re saved it in user midi and now the Slap sound is keep, no idea what’s happened before.
    • Thanks for the tip about filtering by articulation it will make the process a bit quicker !
    • Hope to see the slap articulations being available in the audio tracker in a future update 😉

I still have the issue with the chord changing my user groove, it’s pretty normal as it’s how Ez bass work, but here, i need to change the chords without having the notes changing, how can i do it ? here is a video showing what i’m doing (wrong)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8NC8ni0J7Og

    Thanks for the help !

Hi , thanks for the answer !

    1. i’m certainly doing something wrong but if i’m following your steps, the notes change.
    2. if i’m doing this, it convert all the articulations (Ghost, Palm etc) to Slap/pop, it doesn’t convert alternate -> Slap, Ghost to Ghost Slap, and percussive right hand to percussive left hand. everything must be redone by hand.
    3. yes renaming work ok of course but i’m talking about the Tags. for example,  here it says resolution 1/4 , but it’s not, wer’e more closer to 16th note ;-). the note i programmed were only using Slap , ghost slap etc, but it’s written as Bassline, and Hard. so when i import it again in the timeline, it’s not playing with the slap sound but with the alternate/finger one.
    4. yes of course it’s working ! the issue, is that… the audio loop i’m converting is a slap groove. in the audio tracker unfortunatly we only can listen to alternate playing, no Slap… once converted and put in the song track, i modify each articulation to sound with Slap, but even after modifying everything with slap sound, once it’s saved as user midi, if we import again the groove we saved, it doesn’t keep all the articulations programmed using only slap, slap ghost, etc… it’s back to finger/alternate etc..

I can make a video showing all this, to see better what/where i’m doing something wrong (if i’m doing something wrong).

wow i see !! my apologize to Phil, I could reproduct the crash. in fact, i’m using a Wacom touch as a mouse, and with it the right click and “move”/drap/drop is not possible so impossible to experience such a bug. i just tested with a real mouse and could reproduce the issue !

As mentioned in my opening post:

This is not a tech support request. I am submitting a bug / issue.

If you could not reproduce this maybe you didn’t follow the steps exactly. However as long as the Toontrack QA see this post, that is fine with me.

    Best, P.

I did exactly what you did. i can film it if you want. it’susually a bug when something is reproductible on someone else computer.

I did what you said, and no crash here, so i suggest you to ask a tech support request instead ;-).

not sure if my issue is related to your issue, but i have one thing pretty annoying which happen with the audio tracker feature :

i’m converting in midi a loop bass library, lets tell the original loop is 2 bars in Wav format.

the audiotracker is making a longer loop with few beat or empty bar.  so when converted in Midi, it’s not “ok”.
Same issue with an another audio loop library.

Hello, my monitor is a 17″ CRT, i’m running it at 1152×864 75hz with a Dpi windows scale at 100%, not really what i call a very large session lol.

here is the result of the first reg query :

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Toontrack\EZbass
    Size_StandAlone REG_SZ 1150,794

I own Superior drummer 3, it’s running fine.

edit : bad news, i just run the 2nd reg query, and now Ez bass standalone crash again lol 🙁 … what a nightmare..
