Yes. Thats what I meant when I said “I’ve messed with all the different kit options and they’ll change things but none are correct.” I should’ve worded it differently. Great picture of how to do it though.

Hi-Hat MIDI is triggering wrong sounds. I’ve messed with all the different kit options and they’ll change things but none are correct. I have a Roland TD-4 V-Drum, that I reset to factory settings already. The kit plays fine when I come out of the left right of the Roland TD-4 brain.
It does this with all kits but this is what it did with EZDrummer2 Modern Basic kit in stand alone with no other programs open:
What Works:
1. Hi-hat will open and close when you push pedal up and down.
2. Hit hi-hat on the top of pad with pedal open.
What Doesn’t Work:
1. Hit edge of hi-hat pad and it triggers tom #1.
2. Pedal pushed down hit high hat top and it triggers snare.
3. Pedal pushed down hit hi-hat edge and it triggers tom #3.
Im using: Roland TD-4 V-Drum MIDI out into a Roland UM-1EX USB MIDI interface into a Mac Mini: mid 2011, 2.3GHz i5, 16GB RAM, OSX 10.8.5, 500GB SATA hard drive.
