I managed to fix the issue. Looking at the VST folder I notice that the installed EZplayer.vst file was seen as a folder since the permissions (even though I had them corrected with Apple’s Disk Util) were still wrong (I compared it to both EZDrummer’s and SD2.0’s .vst files (Admin Read Only; “user1” Read & Write; everyone Read only). EZplayer had something else that was wrong. Once I corrected this by getting info and making the changes – all worked. Hope this helps others if they come across this issue.
