    anyone out there?
     
    just to update. after some suggestions, I set my default kit with all effects off to try to reduce CPU load. didn’t make much difference.
     
    would appreciate if anyone had anyone could help.

    I'm hamfistedly using: Laptop Dell Latitude D620 Intel Core 2 CPU T5600 @ 1.83 GHz 988MHz, 1.99 GB RAM Windows XP DAW - Cubase LE5 Interface - Tascam MK122
