Copied over the midi to the new track.
Do you mean that you have MIDI clips in a MIDI track and copy (not move) those MIDI clips to your new Instrument Track (with EZX) ?
In this case, if your MIDI track is routed to EZX MIDI inputs, this track is still controlling EZX.
=> Try to change your original MIDI track routing or mute it, and see if you’re still have some drums.
=> Your new instrument track has its own MIDI routing features (go to the menu “View/Mixer Window Views” and check “Instruments”)

Blast multiple outputs not working.
You don’t have EZX outputs in the list of Audio Inputs ?
=> You must create Aux tracks, and route each EZX outs to each Aux inputs.
