I can’t believe this isn’t a huge problem for a lot of people. Maybe it is. Do you know if ezplayer does something similar (can play ezdrummer and not completely hog asio)? It’s like giving a kid a new toy and taking it away. Wish I didn’t know about Solo!
Not sure, haven’t tried EZplayer.
What soundcard do you have? It seems to be a problem only for soundcards without multi-client ASIO support, like my EMU. I don’t know how many interaces have drivers like that (probably quite a few!).
Like I say, hopefully we can get an early beta to play with.
Glad to see I’m not alone. It’s not been fixed yet, I’d love to see an early public beta (unsupported is fine).
There must be a way to rename it. IK T-racks3 plugins had the same problem (identified as generic ‘T-racks3’ plugins rather than specific product names) and they fixed it in their latest updates. It’s really confusing & newbies will be out in the cold with this.
Save files at the moment does not include any audio settings but instead only saves the state of the plugs and mixer etc,
That’s what I meant.
At the moment there are no plans to introduce auto loading of last project but maybe we need something like that, or simply have a “recent projects” menu for easier loading.
Both would be v. useful, if I had to pick one it’s auto-loading. So much more convenient.
Now I just need to get my hands on a E-MU sound card and try out the ASIO issue…
No need, I’ll beta it for you (will send the NDA later today).
