Yes you have understood me correctly and also provided the answer! I’d forgotten to enable the bleed in the ambience channels so many thanks for that! My extra tom now matches the others.
I can live without bleed into the tom mic although I would liked to see it in snare and kick drums. I don’t mind a bit of spill! It’s not the end of the world though!
Thanks for your help. OK so it looks like the only way to do it is to Add Instrument. I’ve tried doing this and also followed your suggestion of saving a user instrument and loading that.
Both ways I’m not getting all the room mics in the mixer though, just the OH and Front L/R pairs. Also the option to enable bleed is greyed out on that channel. I’ve checked in the Route Instrument Microphones window and everything seems correct. I’m wondering if this is a limitation of User Mic Channels and adding instruments.
