    YEEEEEEEEEEEES

    I LIKE IT ๐Ÿ™‚

    I WANT IT !!!

But if I understand correctly I can still use EZ drummer 2 after I buy EZ drummer 3?

Because that would be perfect for me.

    I think that’s a good choice.

I also have the classic rock, the vintage rock and the pop/rock expansions, but most of the time I use the original EZ drummer and the Nashville EZX.

The classic rock and vintage rock kits are good but they are a bit dark sounding to me.

The next one on my list will probably be the Classic EZX.

    Hello Dan,

I got both the Rock and the Nashville expansions and I’m pretty happy with both of them. My favorite would be the Nashville EZX which sound really great for most rock music. I got some other expansions too but the ones I use the most are the original EZ2 kits, the Nashville and the rock EZX.

So if budget is no concern I would get both of them.

    ย

Also remember that you can mix the kits you have, for example you can use the toms from the Rock EZX and the snare of the Nashville and the kick from the original EZ drummer.

    ย

It’s not that the expansions are an “improvement”, they’re all great for what they do, they’re just different and have different sounds.

    Greetings Dave

    Hello Scott,

    ย

    Thanks for the quick response.

That’s what I am doing currently, but I just found out there was such a knob in the Nashville expansion and also in the modern kit and the kit from ezdrummer 1, and that makes it a lot more EZ for me ๐Ÿ™‚ , but the Rock or drumkit from hell expansions for example doesn’t have that .

Do you by any chance know which “rock oriented” expansions have such a parameter?

    thanks

    Hi GW,

Thanks a lot for the tip ๐Ÿ™‚ I got the classic electrics now for a few days and I really like it.

I especially like the MK I presets.

I got a bunch of midi packs as well so I’m good to go for a while ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve been a good boy all year so I’m hoping Toontrack will put a nice Hammond style organ underneath the christmas tree :p

    Hello GW,

    Thanks for the info ๐Ÿ™‚

I’ve checked out the classic electrics and I plan to buy them later today.

Maybe I also buy another bundle of midi packs so if anyone has some good suggestions for mostly rock based midi pack please let me know.

(still hoping for a hammond like organ in the future though hehe)

    Hello Jazzmandan,

    ย

    Thanks for the help.

I’m currently using my keyboard for organ sounds but I would like to be able to use EZkeys for everything because I’m not the greatest keyboard player (understatement haha).

My main thing is guitars and I use the organs mostly in the background, just following the chords of the song. Very subtle really.

That’s why I was thinking of maybe using one of the pipe organ presets .

Does anyone know if there are presets in the EZkeys pipe organ that can be usefull for that kind of stuff?

Or maybe someone has a suggestion for midi packs that will work nicely with strings or organ sounds as I’m planning to get some other instrument packs as well like the stringmachine and maybe the dream machine and retro electrics.

I now have cubase artist 10.5 installed and everything works perfectly.

I’m still getting to know the program but I’m getting there. There is lots of stuff to discover in cubase ๐Ÿ™‚

    Loving it so far.

I now got the trial version of cubase installed and that works perfectly, so I’m gonna get the artist version from cubase.

I love it, I should have gone with cubase much earlier.

I’m gonna spend some time getting to know the program now and soon I’ll be back in business ๐Ÿ™‚

    ย

Again thank for the help everybody.

Would it become a problem to have two DAW’s on one computer?
