    I was decompressing the folder, not files, but data.cab was the file that would not cooperate. I ended up using another computer to decompress, it did not have any issue with data.cab and the install is running now. Thanks.

    I have the same issue, data.cab will not extract. The answer above states to unzip before launching installer, yet this issue is during the unzip, long before I can think about launching the installer. I have the same error as dewaughn.
