All sorts of odd meters here https://www.toontrack.com/product/monster-midi-pack-2-odd-meters/ and here https://www.toontrack.com/product/monster-midi-pack-4-fills-odd-meters/
If the keyswitch notes are playing you’re in the wrong octave. Transpose these down until they work.
Hello Mattias! Thanks for your reply. Since I was still having this issue and didn’t see any response from anyone here, I generated a support ticket and the person who responded confirmed they were able to reproduce the problem in Studio One. The workaround for now is to use the VST2 version instead on VST3.
Hello,
The workaround for this is, after loading a project, for EACH CC curve, select all nodes, move them slightly and move them back to the correct position. This needs to be done every time you open a project though. Saving the file doesn’t save the fix.
Customer support stated that a 1.1.1 fix is on the way as soon as possible.
The latest version of EZBass (1.1.0) crashes if there are any CC curves on the track. It’s a known issue and mentioned in the release notes. They stated that they’re working on a fix. The workaround is to select all of the nodes on all CC tracks, move them and move them back to their position, but you need to do this every time you open that file.

Thanked by: SlohcineO.k.,
probably I was a bit quick on doing the uninstall 1.10/install older version thing:
I lost a pretty elaborate bass part of a project, as I thought, it is saved with the Cubase project. IT DOES NOT!
So: be careful with this procedure. Save all your work first as EZBass projects I assume. And as I write this Iask myself: how many songs have lost their bass part now?
Is there any chance to get them back?
Kind regards,
Mathias

Cubase projects saved with the 1.09 running DO NOT LOSE the track information. I am glad about this.

Sorry to hear you went down the wrong path! I hope you were able to sort it out. I’m sitting tight waiting for the fix myself. First time I’ve ever had an issue with a Toontrack product!
Thank you for your response. I am a big fan of ToonTrack products and have always installed updates without hesitation as your products have always been extremely stable. I have to say that I am shocked that you would release this version with this known issue. I hope that the 1.1.1 release is tested and released soon as the current workaround is not ideal to say the least.
Also read the known issues. I’m on Studio One and EZBass freezes during playback if there are CC curves in the track.
I really don’t anticipate ToonTracks going back into the studio and resampling all of the notes on all of the strings. They probably did this to simplify the programming which in my opinion was a bad decision. In addition to having to resample the notes, the different velocities and right hand articulations, they would need to add programming logic to decide which notes to play based on the hand position. This would be a significant change. I’m convinced it was on the table but they made the conscious decision not to do so in order to meet a certain price point in development costs. They probably figured that the majority of users wouldn’t miss this feature. I believe they underestimated how sophisticated their user base is.
I agree! I’ve used Scarbee libraries for years and every note on every string is sampled, at multiple velocities with round robins. And they have trills which is sorely missing in EZbass. Hopefully this will be corrected soon! The EZbass interface rocks!

Thanked by: Alexander LazarevI’m working on a song right now and I wish I had the option to insert a trill! I’m tempted to switch to Scarbee for that one note. They’ve done a great job coding the key switches for multiple trills. They call, them buzz trills and trills. Very well implemented. Please ToonTrack, add trills to the articulations! If anyone can do it, you guys can!
You won’t get anywhere near the sound of an upright with the current sample libraries. I’m sure there will be expansion packs in the future following the EZDrummer and EZKeys models.

Thanked by: Tony ShafferHi Henrik, I only use a PC and use the latest version of Studio One Professional 4.6.1. I’ve never used AU plugins in Studio One.
